Being a big-band style ensemble, we are perfectly suited to playing classic Big Band hits such as Sing Sing Sing, as well as timeless jazz songs that have been recorded again and again- for example 'Fly Me To The Moon', 'Mack The Knife' and 'Moondance'. We also have a few modern Jazz/Swing numbers made famous by artists such as Norah Jones and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
We cover many popular artists from various styles & eras. Among them are ABBA, the Beach Boys, The Beatles, Tina Turner, Wham!, Earth Wind & Fire, The Supremes and Elton John. Our collection of rock & pop hits is extensive and includes up-tempo songs as well as slower ballads, and the occasional funky or latin-style tune.
We have several well-known songs & themes from various movies, including the 'Peter Gunn Theme', 'Eye Of The Tiger', 'The Pink Panther' and 'Mission Impossible'. Other favourites from our repertoire are show tunes such as 'All That Jazz' and songs that are well-known for their appearance in movies, including 'Aint No Mountain High Enough' and 'Shake A Tailfeather'.
When the formalities of the evening are over, we can get your guests on the dance floor with classic party numbers such as 'YMCA' and 'Old Time Rock & Roll'.
We have a Christmas selection and other essential special occasion songs such as 'Happy Birthday'. We've even got a few Aussie tunes and will do our best to fulfil any special requests.
